Group Financial Accountant - Reed : Job Details

Reed Finance are partnered with a well-recognised organisation with truly global reach, in the recruitment for an Interim Group Financial Accountant to support during a busy Year End period.

This role will initially be for a minimum of 3-6 months, however could well be extended. Our client offer flexible hybrid working with 1-2 days per week in their offices. The post-holder will be a fully Qualified Accountant with substantial PQE.

As Interim Group Financial Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the preparation of the Group’s Annual Report & Accounts
• Ensuring year end timetable deadlines are met, preparation and posting of year end journals and advising on the effect of changes.
• Being a primary liaison point with the external auditors.
• Maintenance of good balance sheet controls, ensuring reconciliations are performed and reviewed, and all balances can be substantiated.
• Control and maintenance of fixed asset records. 
• Development and maintenance of financial accounting and modelling systems as necessary.
