GROUNDS MANAGER FOR LUXURY ESTATE BETWEEN WEST PALM BEACH AND BOCA RATON, FL

  • Location: West Palm Beach and Boca Raton, FL, USA
  • Salary: $120,000 gross p.a. plus package (benefits to be discussed with successful candidates)
  • Start Date: Interviewing now for a July 2024 start
  • Contract: Permanent | Live-out
  • Working Schedule: Rota, 5 days on / 2 days off
  • Additional: Bilingual Spanish/English Speakers | Drivers required

Chace People is excited to present an exceptional opportunity for a Grounds Manager to join a prestigious ultra-high-net-worth family based between West Palm Beach and Boca Raton, Florida. This permanent, live-out position offers a competitive salary of $120,000 gross per annum plus benefits.

Your Role:

This role is ideal for a technically adept individual with a knack for problem-solving and a keen eye for detail. As the Grounds Manager, you will oversee the maintenance and management of three luxury properties, working closely with the House Manager and Assistant House Manager who focus on interior affairs. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the pristine condition of the exteriors, managing vendors and supervising the grounds team. This role demands a proactive mindset, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in both Spanish and English.

You Will Bring:

  • Technical expertise and a hands-on approach to grounds maintenance
  • Strong project management skills, including budgeting and negotiation
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within large estates or properties
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with vendors and household staff
  • Flexibility to work a rotational schedule, covering 5 days on and 2 days off
  • Proficiency in both Spanish and English languages
  • Valid driver's license and local residency

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the maintenance and upkeep of exterior areas across three properties
  • Supervise and coordinate vendors for landscaping, pool maintenance, and other exterior services
  • Oversee the grounds team, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety
  • Proactively address any issues or concerns related to grounds maintenance
  • Collaborate with the House Manager and Assistant House Manager to ensure seamless operation of the estate
