Grounds Maintenance Operative - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Your new companyYou will be working for a well-established social housing contractor throughout the Runcorn area.Your new role

• Grass Cutting: Using powered mowers and strimmers to maintain lawns and grassy areas
• Hedge and Shrub Maintenance: Trimming hedges and shrubs using powered hedge cutters, and pruning plants as needed
• Weeding and Spraying: Removing weeds and applying herbicides to hard surfaces and kerb edges
• Litter Collection: Picking up litter and ensuring communal areas are clean and tidy
• Tree Maintenance: Basic tree care, such as removing damaged or broken limbs
• Seasonal Planting: Planting and maintaining seasonal bedding and shrubs
• Pathway Maintenance: Clearing and sweeping pathways to keep them free of debris
• Customer Interaction: Addressing customer enquiries and complaints promptly and effectively
• Health and Safety Compliance: Following all health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operation of machinery
