We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Chef to join an expanding team. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about culinary arts and has experience working in a high-pressure, fast-paced, and large volume kitchen. Training will be provided, but a strong foundation in food standards, safety, and hygiene is essential.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your speciality.
- Manage and maintain a clean and tidy kitchen environment at all times.
- Ensure all food prepared meets the highest quality standards and complies with food safety regulations.
- Work efficiently under pressure and maintain high standards even when busy.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
- Work both independently and as part of a small team, especially during peak times.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef in a high-volume kitchen.
- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Hardworking and comfortable in both leadership and team-player roles.
- Relevant culinary qualifications are preferred.
