We are looking to hire an experience Graphic Designer (environmental) for a well-established brand in East Kilbride.

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team and transform commercial workspaces into functional, inspiring environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of modern workplace design trends, space planning principles, and the ability to create offices that enhance productivity, collaboration, and employee wellbeing.

Role Full time perm role.

Hours Mon – Fri 9am – 5pm

Salary £30k - £36k D.O.E - benefits

Location East Kilbride (free parking)

Role – Graphic Designer

Design Development

• Create comprehensive interior design concepts for corporate offices, co-working spaces, and commercial facilities.
• Develop space plans that optimize workflow, circulation, and departmental adjacencies.
• Design layouts that support both collaborative work and focused individual tasks.
• Select furniture, fixtures and finishes that align with client needs and budgets.

Project Management

• Manage multiple office design projects simultaneously from concept through completion.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors throughout the design process.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and material schedules.

Client Collaboration

• Conduct client consultations to understand organisational culture, work styles, and functional requirements.
• Present design concepts through mood boards, 3D renderings, and material samples.
• Incorporate client feedback and revisions while maintaining design integrity.
• Provide ongoing support during construction and installation phases.

The right Person

• Experience within a similar role preferably within the office fit out arena although not essential.
• Great communicator who is looking to be part of a growing business long term.

Technical Skills

• Produce accurate floor plans, 3D renders and presentations.
• Specify commercial-grade furniture systems.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, DDA requirements, and safety regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in commercial interior design, preferred but not essential.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering software.
• Strong knowledge of commercial furniture systems and space planning principles.
• Understanding of building codes, fire safety regulations, and accessibility standards.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Package

£30k - £36K basic salary depending on experience, Career Progression, Excellent Benefits.
