Graduate Teaching Assistant - Primary SchoolLocation: LiverpoolStart Date: September 2025Contract Type: Full-time, term time Salary: £17,345 - £19500

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate who is considering a future in teaching or education-related work. You will be working closely with pupils across the school, providing 1:1 support and delivering targeted intervention sessions to help every child reach their potential.

The Role:

• Work alongside class teachers to support pupils' learning and emotional development.
• Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs, helping to tailor learning to individual requirements.
• Deliver small group and intervention sessions in areas such as literacy and numeracy.
• Help prepare resources, support classroom activities, and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor pupil progress and communicate effectively with teaching staff.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A degree
• Some experience working with or supporting children (e.g., in schools, tutoring, mentoring, clubs or volunteering)
• A genuine interest in education and supporting young learners
• A patient, flexible, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
