Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant - Sheffield

Engage Education are currently working in partnership with a special educational needs school to support learners with a range of needs including Autism, SEMH and other complex learning needs.

Starting immediately, Engage Education are looking for outstanding SEN Teaching Assistants to join a bank of supply staff to support the school with their daily staffing needs.

We are looking for staff who have a background in supporting children with special needs. You need to be available to work in Sheffield and a minimum of 2 days per week.

*Your Role:

• Supporting a learners with a range of needs
• Working with other support staff to engage pupils in class
• Providing feedback to teachers and parents
• You will be assisting pupils with Complex Communication and Autism, SEMH, ADHD, Severe Learning Difficulties and other Learning Disabilities

• A range of behaviour management techniques
• To have worked with learners with a range of needs
• The ability to engage a young person in learning through a range of methods
• To be able to commit to working at the school for long period of time
• A resilient attitude
