We’re supporting a growing manufacturer in their search for a Graduate Project Engineer to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position ideally suited to a recent engineering graduate looking to gain hands-on project experience in a supportive and structured environment.As Project Engineer, you’ll be working closely with the Project Manager to support live commercial projects from concept through to delivery. You’ll play a key role in preparing product specifications, coordinating packaging design and artwork, and assisting with customer documentation and approval processes.This is a fantastic entry point into a fast-paced manufacturing setting with a clear progression path and the opportunity to learn multiple aspects of project and product management.Core responsibilities:
- Create and maintain product supply specifications
- Support internal processes for releasing and updating project documentation
- Assist in coordinating packaging design and artwork with customers and suppliers
- Help manage specification sign-off, change notifications and version control
- Organise customer-specific product samples and maintain a reference library
- Support with project planning tasks and day-to-day project coordination
- Ensure data and documentation is stored accurately
About you:
- Recently graduated in an engineering, manufacturing, or related technical discipline
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Detail-oriented with a structured, process-driven mindset
- Comfortable switching between different projects and tasks
- Eager to learn internal systems and take on increasing levels of responsibility
- Able to read engineering drawings (experience with SolidWorks is a bonus)
- Competent using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Adobe tools are a plus
