A dynamic and growing creative business in Manchester City Centre is seeking a motivated Operations Assistant to join their Operations team. This role is perfect for someone with strong Excel skills and a keen eye for detail who wants to play a key part in keeping systems accurate, streamlining workflows, and supporting business performance with reliable reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and consistent data within internal systems.

  • Build and update Excel report templates to improve reporting processes.

  • Support the production of reports covering jobs, KPIs, and team performance.

  • Assist with timesheet processes and data entry.

  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure reporting and dashboards are accurate and useful.

  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting speed and workflow efficiency.

  • Explore ways to embed AI tools into daily processes for reporting, analysis, and administration.

  • Provide team support during busy periods to contribute to a positive working culture.

About You
  • Strong Excel skills (comfortable with formulas, pivot tables, and handling large datasets).

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

  • Confident working with data and numbers.

  • Able to take ownership of tasks and work independently.

  • Strong communication skills and comfortable collaborating with multiple teams.

  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn.

  • Enthusiasm for using AI tools to improve efficiency and reporting.
