This role is an exciting opportunity for an entry-level Compliance Analyst to work in an fast paced and rapidly growing Fintech Payments firm.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Risk & Compliance department in ensuring company-wide adherence to regulatory standards and compliance/transaction monitoring.

Description

• Ensure compliance with transaction monitoring and KYC/AML operational policy and procedures.
• Work closely with the Head of Monitoring to enable enhancement of the Financial Crime programme.
• Ensure transaction alerts are cleared or escalated appropriately.
• Be an escalation point for questions related to clients at onboarding and KYC refresh stage.
• Liaison between monitoring/onboarding analysts and sales team.
• Maintain a strong relationship and provide guidance in relation to transaction monitoring criteria.

Profile

A successful applicant should have:

• A degree in Law, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Looking to break into an entry level Compliance role, based within the Financial Services sector.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management principles.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good knowledge of data analysis and statistical methods.
