Graduate Business Development Executive - Katie Bard (Angela Mortimer Plc) : Job Details

A global organisation working within the tech industry is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Graduate Business Development Executive in their Birmingham City Centre! This is on a full time, permanent hybrid basis offering up to 25k with bonus opportunities!

Looking within the graduate calibre, the candidate needs to proactive and analytic, as this role is representing the front end of the acquisition process. The candidate should have a genuine interest in either tech or investments and have highly developed conversational skills. The individual needs to be a self-starter who can work independently to achieve objectives and has the ability to establish client relationships.

The role would be required to travel to their offices in Ireland, Spain and the Netherlands potentially once or twice a month for training purposes as well as visits businesses through the UK.

This role would involve growth of the database in the UK by identifying companies that meet the acquisition process, taking the initiative to prospect calls, emails and social media communication to identify target clients, use marketing to build relationships, following up on prospect activities in a timely manner, practice sales development, cold calling and face to face meetings with senior individuals.

This is a client facing role and it is desirable to have commercial awareness and/or professionals skills. It is essential to have a Bachelors or Master’s degree in preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Management or Accounting. Efficiency in Microsoft and other related IT programmes is an asset.
