Responsibilities
As a Graduate Acoustic Consultant, you will:
- Learn to undertake noise and vibration impact assessments under the guidance of experienced professionals.
- Conduct sound insulation testing.
- Perform computational noise calculations for Building and Environmental Acoustics.
- Prepare technical reports suitable for client submission.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Collaborate with team members throughout the lifecycle of projects.
- Occasionally work nights or weekends and travel across the UK, with appropriate remuneration provided.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Strong numeracy skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in report writing and client interaction.
- Proficiency in IT, especially Microsoft Office.
- The ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
- A self-motivated, proactive, and positive attitude.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
