Are you a GP Pharmacy Technician looking for a rewarding locum role in Sheffield? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!

• Job Title: Pharmacy Technician (Band 5)

• Location: Sheffield

• Duration: Until December 2025 (likely to extend to March 2026)

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, full-time (37.5 hours) or part-time options - 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm (flexible)

• Start Date: ASAP

• End Date: December 2025 (with possible extension to March 2026)

• Rate of Pay: £18 - £20 per hour

What You'll Be Doing:Join our team as a Pharmacy Technician and play a key role in supporting medication safety and optimisation in a primary care setting. In this role, you will:

• carry out drug switching and support prescribing initiatives

• follow local SOPs and contribute to protocol development

• collaborate with GPs, pharmacists, and wider PCN teams

• ensure accuracy in medication records and support QOF-related projects

• use EMIS and SystmOne for documentation and clinical reviews

Requirements & Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need:

• a current and valid GPhC registration

• experience working in primary care settings

• strong skills using both EMIS and SystmOne clinical systems

• the ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team

• excellent communication and organisational skills

Working Hours & Contract Duration:This role offers a flexible working position and requires availability from Monday to Friday, with some flexibility around start/finish times. The contract runs until December 2025, with high potential to extend through to March 2026 depending on performance and service need.
