GOOGLE CLOUD FINOPS SPECIALIST

Do you have experience as a FinOps specialist? Are you an expert at all things GCP? This role is an amazing chance to work in a large, established company and use your FinOps expertise to help drive cost efficiency within the business.

THE COMPANY

The company is a leading telecoms company. They are looking to cut costs by bringing in a GCP FinOps specialist to put guard rails in place and keep track of how services are being used throughout the business.

THE ROLE

You will be:

• Managing relationships with stakeholders.
• Keeping up with cost effective services launched by Google.
• Promoting FinOps mindset throughout the company.
• Establish guardrails/policies to detect and remove usage waste.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience with developing scripts using languages like Python, SQL, and Terraform.
• Experience building and managing Cloud Cost analysis & visualisations using tools such as Looker, Tableau, and Qlik.
• Strong understanding of GCP Cloud fundamentals in FinOps to manage Cloud Budget, Forecast, Spend monitoring, purchasing various Commitments, deriving Cloud Cost Optimisation across the Organisation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills for working in a collaborative environment.
