You will be responsible for maximising B2B sales, to compliment the successful D2C business channels, Retail & Ecommerce. Specialising in stylish home products, accessories, interiors and home fragrance, this brand is sold world-wide in over 60 countries. Through a combination of business models including wholesale, franchise and JV, the business has gone from strength to strength in the last 10 years. Due to ongoing expansion, the company is now seeking a talented, proven, and dynamic Sales Director who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has great international experience and will be a superb ambassador for the brand.

This role is responsible for driving global Sales in conjunction with the Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Marketing Officer and the Sales, Operations and Logistics teams. Developing and managing existing and new customer relationships, to achieve ambitious & agreed business objectives, to maximise profitable sales whilst overseeing a reliable portfolio of diverse customer accounts, including major national key accounts. To contribute to delivering company sales targets and promote new product launches, maximising international sales opportunities.
We are looking for a driven Sales Director, specifically to achieve and exceed sales and profit targets. To provide a valuable contribution to the Executive Board in defining and implementing business sales objectives internationally. To proactively contribute to the development of Company strategies through cross-functional working to ensure that the medium and long-term business goals are achieved.
Accountabilities:
Global Sales: Planning and shaping long-term relationships for the brand. Managing and motivating support team and high-profile accounts personally, in accordance with the annual business plan. Agreeing targets with Executive Team and implementing Sales initiatives accordingly.
New Business: Proactively develop and secure a good balance of the target customers, by rigorous selection and advancing the relationship to 'partner’ status where appropriate.
Customer Relations: Account management. Develop, secure, and retain customer relationships whilst shaping long-term relationships for the business. Establish and influence senior external contacts (including face to face meetings and negotiation).
Delivery: Develop and drive the international sales strategy. Implement high 'value-add’ solutions over and above those deliverables expected from projects. Be aware of the day-to-day issues arising from all customer relationships and influence appropriate actions business-wide to maximise brand performance.
Planning: Design and produce an annual sales plan for key customers, and for target customers. Develop a commercial sales strategy, ensuring that short, medium, and long-term business objectives are met.
Procedural: Ensure work progresses in adherence with overarching company strategy, policies and procedures and the Salesforce system is kept up to date.
