Join us in this exciting role as a Global Benefits Consulting Director based out of our London office working within our market-leading Integrated & Global Solutions (IGS) line of business. This role will be focussed on managing and delivering large, strategic client engagements and serving as strategic advisor to multinational clients concerning their health and risk benefits globally, as well as developing new business. Our Global Benefits Management (GBM) business within IGS has a particular focus around the coordination of insured benefits, and also has the breadth to consider other Benefits and Total Reward aspects as demanded by our clients. The GBM business is one of the fastest growing areas of our business with an expanding marketplace and exciting, evolving client needs. As a Global Benefits Consulting Director in our GBM team, you will play a key part in this growth story, taking a lead role in delivering across multiple focus areas and geographies to some of our biggest multinational clients as well as being part of the growth by supporting new business opportunities and expanding the solutions we provide our clients by build deep trusted relationships both internally and externally.The Role
  • Steer and manage multiple client engagements.
  • Take a lead role on client delivery teams, providing guidance and training to junior team members as needed, and take ultimate responsibility for client deliverables.
  • Provide strategic consulting expertise in global health, risk and other benefits.
  • Establish a trusted advisor role with clients and provide consistent, superior relationship management.
  • Lead and manage large International consulting client engagements:
    • Build leveraged teams that work effectively together
    • Develop plans for execution of large, global engagements
    • Ensure project managers are maintaining team progress against goals
    • Identify broader needs of the client
  • Contribute to the development of new tools and approaches related to global consulting.
  • Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional and cross-regional teams.
  • Support growth and revenue-expansion goals:
    • Identify opportunities to cross-sell new products and services
    • Partnering with regional/ local Health & Benefits, International consultants and regional/local geography teams
    • Build relationships with internal and external sources to maximize the penetration of key target accounts
    • Be actively involved in new GBM business growth, working with our sales teams, developing new relationships for accounts you will continue to manage

  • Extensive international benefits experience, preferably with health and risk benefits experience across multiple countries.
  • Proven ability to generate revenue and grow market share.
  • Track record of success in managing large client relationships and leading global teams.
  • Fluent in English language (proficiency in other languages is a bonus).
  • Ability to work both on their own and with client teams, including virtual work teams with members in different geographic locations.
  • Aptitude for the development of junior and mid-level colleagues both formally and informally.
  • Understanding of the nuances of working across borders, with different cultures and with multinational organizations.
  • The ability to deal positively with change and comfort working in a global environment.
  • Proven ability to guide, influence and bring people together.
  • Strong organizational abilities and flexibility to work in a performance driven environment managing multiple project priorities.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required.
  • Interest and aptitude in keeping abreast of latest developments in global compensation/benefits approaches and contributing to the development of new tools and approaches.
