Job Description :

A global market-leading bio-pharmaceutical company is currently looking for a German speaking HR Associate to work within the HR Department based in Stockley Park.

This role uses technology and systems to provide great customer service, support self-service for employees, and handle inquiries beyond basic levels. Collaboration with global teams is required. We're seeking someone passionate about HR, helping employees, and learning more about HR. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable to change, a problem-solver, and thrives in uncertain situations.

This role is a 6-month fixed-term contract that will require you to work from the office in Stockley Park 3 days per week (Tuesday to Thursday) and 2 days from home.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handle Tier 1 cases professionally, with sensitivity, and a customer-centric approach in adherence to Company policies, procedures, and SLAs.
  • Utilise proper grammar and language to address employee cases via case management and chat technology (such as chat, emails, and case responses).
  • Employ case management system tools to address written inquiries from employees, managers, retirees, and family members concerning HR matters, within specified SLAs and quality benchmarks.
  • Follow HRSS policy and procedures to escalate cases to the appropriate team when necessary.
  • Collaborate with internal and external sources to provide or gather necessary information to resolve non-escalated cases.
  • Direct employees, managers, retirees, and families to HR self-service technology, external vendors, or other applicable resources as needed.
  • Achieve or surpass goals and key performance indicators to ensure optimal service delivery to all stakeholders.
  • Aid in special projects to bolster HRSS operations.
  • Contribute to the ongoing enrichment of the HR knowledge base and Employee Support Center (ESC) to facilitate employees in finding answers to their queries through self-service.
  • Work together with other regional HRSS teams to ensure alignment and share knowledge.
  • Take the lead in documenting, streamlining, and standardising HR business processes regionally and globally.
  • Address inquiries from internal and external partners promptly, with timely follow-up and feedback.

To be successful in this role, it is essential for you to have previous experience working in an HR function, ideally in Shared Services settings.   • Required to be fluent in German and in English, both written and spoken
  • Substantial experience in HR or HR Shared Services
  • Proficiency in utilising HR Systems, particularly Workday's Data Management features
  • Essential proficiency in verbal, written, interpersonal, and telephone communication
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office applications
  • Desirable experience with case management tools, notably ServiceNow
  • At least two years of experience managing HR inquiries for TA Operations administration
  • HR Qualification advantageous (not mandatory)
