Language requirements for the jobFluency in German and English is essentialLocation of the jobManchester, north west England + travel in the UK and Europe when requiredCompany backgroundOur client is a highly successful, international sustainable energy solutions company that is at the forefront of pioneering environmental saving energy product development and renewable energy across EuropeJob responsibilitiesAs their German speaking Account Manager, you will work with their existing client base in the DACH countries of Europe to help them maximise their sales potential. Reporting to the UK & Europe Managing Director, you will be an important person to expand and strengthen the company network of partners and installers across the Netherlands and Europe. Your job responsibilities will include:

  • Work closely with existing German speaking client base (DACH countries) to help them maximise their sales potential through consultation and technical pre-sales support
  • Grow the regional network of German speaking (DACH) installers through sales cold calling, marketing initiatives, and other creative outreach efforts
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with installers in your assigned region
  • Act as the primary point of contact for installers, addressing their needs and concerns.
  • Provide commercial guidance, sales strategies, and best practices to enhance their success.
  • Gather insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.

The successful candidate background

  • Fluency in German and English is essential
  • Experience in a business development, account management, or sales role
  • Ability to build and maintain strong sales relationships
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to work
  • Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
  • A knowledge or interest in renewable energy, EV trends, solar power etc is a preference but not essential as full training will be given

Salary and benefits£35,000 - £45,000 pa DOE + Uncapped commission, performance-based incentives, and opportunities for professional development.
