General Operative - Reed : Job Details

My market leading, Appleton, Warrington-based client are looking to recruit an experienced General Operative on a temporary to permanent basis. The role will be temporary for 14 weeks and if that period is successful the role will become permanent.

The shift pattern available is as follows:

£12.67 per hour – Days – Monday to Thursday 07:00 – 16:00 & Friday 07:00 – 12:00

About the Role:

We are looking for a reliable and motivated General Operative to join our manufacturing team. This role is hands-on and varied, supporting the smooth running of our factory processes. You’ll need to be flexible, quick to learn, and ready to take on a wide range of duties across different areas of production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the manufacturing process by following guidance from area leads and managers
• Be open to cross-functional training across departments
• Maintain excellent health & safety standards at all times
• Report any issues with machines, processes, or raw materials promptly
• Ensure high standards of housekeeping across factory, warehouse, and yard areas
• Handle and lift materials safely in line with company policy
• Carry out reasonable tasks as required to support production
