General Manager Maternity Cover - Fresh : Job Details

Fresh is seeking a dynamic and passionate General Manager to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover a period of maternity leave. You’ll be leading operations at Sketch House, our vibrant 475-bed student accommodation development just five minutes’ walk from Finsbury Park Underground and National Rail station.

We’re looking for a motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values excellence, and wants to make a meaningful impact on the resident experience.

In this role, you’ll lead a dedicated on-site team, fostering a supportive and safe community for residents while driving operational performance. You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day management of the building, including budgets, compliance, stakeholder relations, and team leadership, ensuring the site continues to deliver exceptional standards throughout the fixed-term period.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and inspire the on-site team to deliver an outstanding resident experience.

• Manage budgets and drive operational efficiency.

• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

• Ensure health, safety, and compliance standards are consistently met.

• Support and motivate your team to achieve great results and uphold Fresh’s high standards.

About YouYou’ll be an experienced leader with a background in managing residential, hospitality, or student accommodation operations. You’ll have:

• Proven experience overseeing day-to-day site operations.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• A passion for creating positive resident experiences and thriving team environments.

• The ability to stay calm under pressure and deliver results.
