Gas Engineer - Meridian Business Support : Job Details

We are currently recruiting for a qualified and experienced Gas Engineer to cover the North of Northamptonshire (Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough) for a 2 month period which may be extended. A company vehicle and tools will be provided.As Gas Engineer you will be working Monday to Thursday 8am-4pm, and Friday 8am-3.30pm offering a PAYE rate of £19.23 per hour or Umbrella at £25 per hour. Call out rates are £20.96 per hour PAYE and £27.25 per hour Umbrella. As Gas Engineer, reporting into the Repairs Officer, you will provide operational housing maintenance services including inspections, repairs, servicing, improvements and replacement of heating/ hot water systems.We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:

• CCN1 Core Gas Safety Element
• Time Service Apprenticeship
• CPA1, CKR1, CENWAT1, MET1, HTR1, Range Cooker, Unvented Hot Water experience
• Sufficient practical housing maintenance experience in a Gas Engineer role
• Any knowledge of oil, LPG or non-domestic gas qualification would be advantageous
• Excellent customer service skills
• Valid Driving License is essential
