Gallery Manager / Sales Manager required in Chichester or Worthing. Cloud Gallery are one of the UK's leading independent contemporary galleries and currently looking to appoint 2 Gallery Manager / Retail Sales Manager's, one to work on their Chichester Gallery, and one to work in their Worthing Gallery. Since their launch in 2011 Cloud Gallery have built up an enviable reputation within the industry and represent some of the most sought after artists in the UK. They currently have 3 art galleries throughout the South; Brighton, Chichester and Worthing with exciting plans for expansion into 2026.

As the Gallery Manager / Sales Manager you will be responsible for achieving both your personal monthly sales target and assisting the team to achieve the gallery target, by personable sales techniques with a consultative approach.

The artwork within the gallery ranges from £200 - £20,000 so as a Sales Manager you must be able to communicate with a range of people with varying budgets. Training and development is essential as well as increasing personal knowledge of pieces and the artists. Sales Manager's will report directly to and be supported by the Area Manager.

This position would suit someone that has proven communication skills that is described as a "people person", previous sales or retail experience is required as well as working in a sales targeted role. We would welcome applications from Candidates with a background in Retail Sales or Retail Management.

The gallery is open 7 days per week so the position will involve working on a rota, 5 days in 7, which will include weekend work, 40 hours per week, working hours are Monday to Friday 10:00 - 17:30, Saturday 09:00 - 18:00 & Sunday 10:30 - 16:30 This position is offered as a full time, permanent position.

Gallery Manager / Sales Manager Requirements

• Must have retail management experience
• Full Driving Licence and own car
• Sales experience in target driven environment
• Proven sales management experience
• Outgoing lively personality

Gallery Manager / Retail Sales Manager Remuneration

• Basic Salary of Circa £30,000
• Uncapped Sales Bonus & Commission, OTE £32,000 - £40,000
• 28 Days Holiday PLUS Bank Holiday's
