Funds Paralegal
Larbey Evans is partnering with Elite US law firm for recruit a Funds Paralegal on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to become permanent, to join their developing and growing Alternative Investment practice in London.
- Salary to £45,000

A fantastic opportunity for candidates to work with a diverse and talented team! Candidates will ideally have previous Funds experience to assist Partners and Associates of the Firm in a range of legal support duties, dealing with document preparation, coordination, research and more all while with limited supervision.
Funds Paralegal Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and review of legal documents, including fund formation documents, private placement memoranda, partnership agreements, and subscription agreements
- Conduct legal research on relevant regulations and compliance matters affecting alternative investment funds
- Support due diligence processes by gathering and analysing relevant information and documents
- Prepare and maintain closing checklists and assist in the closing process for fund formations and investments
- Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to facilitate transactions and communications
- Assist in the preparation of client correspondence and reports
- Monitor and track relevant regulatory developments and industry trends
Funds Paralegal Skills & Requirements:
- Prior experience as a paralegal, preferably in alternative investments, financial services, or corporate law
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, or a related field – SQE/LPC would be desirable
- Have an understanding of online resources such as Westlaw, LexisNexis as well as other outlets to perform research and present findings
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organisation, and planning abilities
