Financial Funding Manager - Bury / WFH - £40K

Due to internal promotions in their Finance Department, my client is looking for a Funding Manager to join their team. This position will involve managing a team of 3 Funding / Reporting Analysts and acting as the key POC for external funding partners.

The ideal candidate will enjoy liaising with internal and external stakeholders, flourish in a collaborative team environment and be keen to progress. Your progression in this role can see you promoted to a higher position within the Finance Department within as little as 18 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a Funding Team of 3 with varied levels of experience
• Mentoring when new members of the team join
• Learning from the current Funding Manager who has recently been promoted
• Proactively driving savings in cost-effective ways, reviewing and suggesting improvements, making recommendations to help drive commercial value
• Liaising with 8 key Funding Partners on a daily / weekly basis and providing updates whenever necessary
• Planning monthly drawdown activities for the team to ensure targets are met in forecasting, balances and liquidity
• Working alongside the Forecasting Manager to review movements and sign offs in Monthly and Annual forecasting plans
• Learning and using internal IT systems adopted by the company

Key Skills:

• Previous experience in a Funding, Forecasting or Financial Management or Analysis role
• Excellent communication skills for building strong relationships.
• Management experience will be beneficial.
• Recognised Finance qualification from ACA, ACCA, CTA, CIMA or other (Desirable)
