Fund Controller - Private Equity 12 month FTC - Eames Consulting : Job Details

A top brand name in private equity is looking to bolster its London based funds finance team with a new 12 month fixed term contract hire.

The hire has been created as a result of growth and projects the fund is undertaking.The incumbent will be responsible for fund control across several key funds and their respective co-investment schemes.

This is an ideal role for someone who is readily available (ideally no longer than a one month notice period) with circa 3-6 years of post qualified experience in a similar fund accountant/controller role with closed-end funds experience.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Oversight of the outsourced fund accounting and management/oversight of the third party administrators
• Oversight of drawdowns, capital calls and distributions
• Undertaking fund financial analysis and the subsequent production of fund management information
• Supporting the quarterly portfolio valuations process
• Preparation of investor reporting
• Cash management across the funds
• Updating and maintaining the fund models
• Supporting various other internal teams, i.e. tax, investor relations
• Involvement in project work

Requirements include:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/CA/CPA/CIMA/ACCA) or equivalent
• Roughly 3-6 years of post qualified experience working with closed-end fund structures in a similar role.Ideally private equity, although other asset classes will be taken into consideration.
• Must be readily available and have the right to work in the UK.

Compensation is c£90-100k with a discretionary bonus and access to the full wider benefits package the firm offer.
