Our client is a global alternative investment manager that is looking to grow considerably over the next few years and their London operations are now looking to recruit for a fully-qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) Fund Controller with professional training from a Big 4 (or top 10 chartered accountancy practice) coupled with experience from industry, preferably within a Private Credit fund. Profile Criteria:
Fully-Qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) candidate with professional training from a Big 4 (or top 10 chartered accountancy practice) firm. Industry experience (min. of 3-5 years, the more the better) from a Private Credit fund. The ideal candidate would need closed or some open-ended fund experience. Strong knowledge and experience of reporting under IFRS and US GAAP. Articulate and confident with excellent stakeholder management skills. Responsibilities / Tasks:

- Lead and manage the financial reporting process, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and IFRS
- Oversee NAV calculations, investor allocations, and capital activity (calls, distributions, subscriptions, redemptions)
- Review and approve quarterly and annual fund financial statements, investor reports, and regulatory filings
- Liaise with external auditors, fund administrators, and tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely deliverables
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and procedures around fund operations and accounting
- Provide support with portfolio analysis, structuring, and ad hoc reporting
- Monitor compliance with fund governing documents (LPA, offering documents, side letters)
- Assist with system/process improvements, including automation and scalability initiatives across fund finance
- Provide input into valuation processes for illiquid investments in coordination with the Valuation Committee
- Mentor and supervise junior members of the team
