Full-Time SEND Teaching Assistant - Doncaster (Term-Time Only)Reed Education are proudly working in partnership with a highly regarded group of specialist schools across Doncaster to recruit Full-Time Teaching Assistants for a September start and immediate opportunities. These settings cater exclusively to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and complex medical needs.About the role:You’ll play a vital part in supporting students in classrooms, therapy sessions, and sometimes one-to-one. Every day is different, and every achievement matters - from small steps in communication to major behavioural breakthroughs.What you’ll be doing:

• Working closely with teaching staff to deliver a personalised curriculum
• Supporting pupils with a range of SEND including SEMH, ASC, SLD, and complex needs
• Using alternative communication tools such as PECs, Makaton or AAC devices (training provided where needed)
• Building meaningful, trusting relationships with pupils and staff

• Experience working in a SEND or SEMH environment is essential
