Overview

They are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Management System Consultant to work in their team. This freelance role offers flexibility in the days that you work, and the opportunity to work across diverse industries.

Our client works with a range of standards including the main international standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, ISO 45001).

They are seeking someone to focus on mainly information security so experience or interest in this area is essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits and readiness assessments for certification.
• Provide hands-on support during external audits and certification processes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and industry best practices.
• Assess existing management systems and identify gaps against relevant standards and regulatory requirements.
• Design and embedding tailored management system policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Deliver training sessions to staff on system awareness, compliance, and continual improvement.
• Advise on integration of multiple standards into a unified management system.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• An A-Level or equivalent level qualification obtained is essential.
• Sector-specific knowledge (e.g., manufacturing, IT,) is essential.
• Proven experience in management system implementation or auditing is desirable but not essential.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Lead Auditor, IRCA, CQI) are desirable but not essential.

Engagement Terms
