FP&A Manager reporting to the Head of FP&A will be a key member of the FP&A team, assisting in providing oversight and guidance for the overall performance of the group.The FP&A function has grown over the last 24 months to lead the annual budgeting process, mid-year forecasting cycles, financial modelling of longer-term strategic plans and plays a key role in assisting treasury and transactional finance with cashflow reporting as well as key reporting to both internal and external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities
• Production of Monthly Finance and Lender Packs including liaising with Commercial Finance to understand performance and variances • Ownership of WIP and Debt reporting to SLT, working closely with commercial finance to understand movements, deviation from targets and improve the reporting processes• Oversee cash receipt forecasting cycle, working with treasury and providing meaning-ful analysis / targeted actions to effectively manage liquidity• Ownership of Financial Operating Model (excel based) that is used for Balance Sheet and Cash flow forecasting, budgeting and long term (5 yr) planning• Work with Group Finance leads to develop effective working capital analysis and man-age feedback loop to improve working capital forecasting accuracy• Calculation and forecasting of covenant compliance ratios (adjusted leverage)• Key involvement in Budgeting and Planning cycles from both a P&L and BS/cash per-spective• Key involvement in process improvement and migration to reporting within Microsoft Fabric / PowerBI • Working across multiple areas of finance including group / commercial / transactional and treasury• Direct report with responsibility for Transactional performance reporting (including AP / AR) and payment practice reporting• The role has one direct reportExperience and Qualifications
• Qualified Accountant• Experience in 3 Statement Model• Excellent analytical skills• Inquisitive – understanding the numbers and adding insight• Driven to improve processes and clarity of outputs• Strong communicator and able to engage with key internal and external stakeholders at multiple organisational levelsSalary and Benefits
