Financial Planning & Analysis ManagerWirralC£75,000Working for an established business, your key objectives will include:-

• The leadership and management of the business FP&A function, including career development of team members and managing process improvement and optimisation
• Support the CFO in the provision and delivery of high quality financial and management information to the Group's shareholders and other key stakeholders
• The delivery of management information and reporting, budgets and forecasts and insightful analysis to the Operating Board and senior business leaders across the business - supporting and challenging business decisions
• Oversee the automation of reporting and BI systems working with the in?house IT team
• Identify opportunities for automation of financial and performance reporting and support the team to build their skills and drive constantly improving standards Working with and managing the Executive Directors such that the delivery of all aspects of the "finance agenda" are implemented in a well thought out, planned and efficient manner

YOU will have the following skill set and experience:-

• Able to demonstrate the ability and skills to fully participate with and add value to the CFO in corporate finance and M&A activity - including refinancing, acquisitions and other corporate activities from time to time
• Ideally you will be a qualified to degree level with ACMA or ACCA qualifications
• You will possess at least 5 years post qualified experience and be able to demonstrate a depth to your working experience in an accounting environment including a thorough understanding of business KPI reporting, investment appraisal and performance tracking, managing business stakeholders and business reporting systems
• Ideally you will have experience working in the finance team of a fast growing business
• You will be able to demonstrate an ethic of delivering high performance through hard work, commitment and teamwork
• Excellent communication skills are essential
• You will be able to demonstrate that you can present financial information in a clear, insightful and meaningful manner. You will also be able to demonstrate an ability to write and review "Board" quality papers
