Job Description :

My client a global strategy consulting firm has a newly created unique opportunity to join their Investment performance global finance team. This is a critical role giving you the opportunity to support investment performance reporting, portfolio evaluation, and re-planning activities at a high level.

Salary £60,000-£70,000 + fantastic benefits including a yearly bonus and hybrid working.

You will be ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and clarity of global investment performance reporting. Supporting analysis of new investment opportunities and contributing to portfolio construction aimed at maximizing returns and assisting in updating budgets and forecasts for existing investments.

Day - to - day responsibilities:

  • Lead Monthly Reporting: Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly investment performance reports, including detailed assessments of revenue, costs, margins, and cash flows.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Deliver tailored reports and conduct deep-dive analyses to support strategic decision-making around investment performance.
  • Data Accuracy & Coordination: Ensure the integrity of investment reporting by collaborating with local finance teams across global legal entities; manage and maintain master data specific to investments.
  • Financial Planning Support: Contribute to re-planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for ongoing investments.
  • Opportunity Evaluation: Assist in assessing new investment opportunities by translating business cases into driver-based financial models and evaluating potential impacts on P&L and cash flow.
  • Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes through standardization, automation, and enhanced efficiency.
  • Insightful Communication: Present complex financial information in a clear, visually compelling format to enable stakeholders to easily grasp key insights.

Qualifications:

You will have: A professional accounting qualification (e.g. UK qualification or international equivalent) is valuable but not essential.

Finance data domain experience – strong familiarity with financial data sets, processes, and systems.

Technical skills:

  • Advanced Excel skills are essential, including experience building or working with driver-based financial models.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, impactful presentations.
  • Experience with data tools is required
  • Ability to work with multiple data sources
