Our client is one of Europe's leading private credit funds. An exciting new role has been created for a fully qualified accountant in what is a very broad and commercial role. You will be performing a range of duties from Valuations, FP&A, Fund Modelling and Projects. The Role

Valuations

  • Support the quarterly valuation process for liquid and illiquid positions.
  • Collaborate with the investment team, senior stakeholders, external valuation providers, and auditors to ensure robust valuation processes.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to our valuation procedures in line with FCA and IPEV guidelines.

Financial Planning

  • Support the preparation of detailed forecasting models to aid strategic financial planning and scenario analysis at both the asset, fund and business level.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis for senior stakeholders to enable decision making.

Fund Modelling

  • Support the preparation of fund models and assist the Fundraising team with capital raising initiatives, including the development of cash flow projections and portfolio data for marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with several teams outside of the FP&S team including the Investment, Client Services & Fundraising, Accounting, Treasury & FX trading teams to perform analysis at the fund level.
  • Respond to ad-hoc queries from the Investor Relations and Deal teams that will be used to respond to investor requests.

Strategic Projects

  • Support the AD, Financial Planning and Strategy and the CFO with strategic projects and initiatives.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.

Requirements

  • You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Your experience could come from a few different paths. You could have experience in FP&A/Business Partnering from the asset management sector. You could just as easily have fund level audit experience from practice, a valuations or transaction services background
  • Have good Excel skills and experience in financial modelling
  • Have excellent all round interpersonal skills
