FP&A Analyst - Eclectic Recruitment : Job Details

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our clients based in Ely who are seeking a commercially focused FP&A Analyst. This is a full-time office-based role, ideally suited to someone with proven experience in a similar analytical or finance business partnering position.

Typical duties include:

• Delivering detailed financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision making
• Monitoring financial performance, identifying trends, and recommending improvements
• Supporting month-end reporting with clear and concise commentary
• Preparing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts in line with company timelines
• Reviewing processes on an ongoing basis and driving efficiency initiatives
• Conducting regular variance analysis to highlight risks and opportunities
• Supporting wider finance projects, including system enhancements and ad-hoc reporting requests
• Collaborating with non-finance teams to provide insight and financial guidance

You will have:

• A recognised professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA)
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• A commercial mindset with the ability to challenge and influence
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial data to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
