Food and Beverage Manager - N.E. Recruitment : Job Details

Food & Beverage Manager, required for a hotel in the Betchworth area. You will need to have transport due to location and shifts of work.

As Food & Beverage Manager, you will have held a supervisory / managerial role from within a busy Food and Beverage orientated property previously or looking for your first step up to this role.

The Food & Beverage Manager, will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of this hotel on a day to day rota basis which does include week-ends. Shift work will be involved working 5 days out of 7. You will be working as part of the management team within this hotel and your role will also require you to be hands, including duty managment.

About The Role as Food & Beverage Manager:

• To set up conference rooms and functions according to the weekly function sheets.
• To manage events to a professional and efficient manner.
• Coordinate wedding receptions, events and functions.
• Ensure the hotels Health & Safety Policy and Fire Policy is adhered to at all times.
• To organise inhouse training for the staff at the hotel.
• To ensure high customer service skills are portrayed throughout the hotel.
• Line manage a team of Food & Beverage Assistants and Supervisors.
• To ensure maintenance and cleanliness of the hotel are always monitored and kept to a high standard.
• To process orders for the hotel on weekly basis alongside the Hotel & Operations Managers.

About You for the role of Food & Beverage Manager:

• Enjoy working and dealing with the public and being part of a team.
• Confident, pleasant and an excellent articulate communicator; able to stay calm under pressure and remain courteous when dealing with difficult situations.
• People management experience is essential.
• Experience running service on weddings, events or parties is desirable.
• Must be efficient, organised and self motivated.
• Have a good personal standard projecting a professional image at all times.

The salary for Food & Beverage Manager, is given as up to £33,000 / per annum / basic. Inclusive a possible 10% of salary Incentive scheme. TRANSPORT WILL BE REQUIRED DUE TO LOCATION AND SHIFTS PLEASE.
