FOH IT Communications Assistant£40kCity - on site Professional Services My client is an established Legal firm based in the City and are looking for a natural problem solver to join their Front of House and IT support team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for technology, problem-solving, and customer service to develop their skills in a fast-paced, professional services environment (ideally Legal).You will be responsible for providing hands-on technical support for meeting room technology, live and hybrid events, and a wide range of IT/AV services. You will work closely with colleagues in the IT team to ensure smooth operations, resolve technical issues, and contribute to the implementation of new collaboration solutions.Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting and coordinating live and hybrid events.
- Performing regular checks and preventative maintenance on AV/UC equipment.
- Troubleshooting meeting room technology issues across multiple platforms.
- Exploring, testing, and implementing new Unified Communications solutions.
- Assisting with project work and occasional out-of-hours deployments.
- Managing and maintaining AV/IT equipment inventory.
- Ensuring support requests are resolved within defined SLAs.
About you We’re looking for someone who is:
- Experience in a Front of House/Communications Assistant role
- Experienced in supporting Windows operating systems, hardware, and AV equipment.
- Confident with Microsoft Teams, Teams Rooms, basic networking, and SIP protocol concepts.
- Familiar with troubleshooting software and hardware issues, ideally with experience using a ticketing system.
- A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and a dedication to customer service.
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and able to perform under pressure.
You should also have at least one year of hands-on experience with AV/IT support, plus the ability to handle the physical demands of the role (including walking, standing, lifting, and equipment setup).What’s in it for you
