FLT Operator and Production Operative

Our client is a research facility developing a bespoke production line for a new recycling method for electrical waste. We are recruiting for someone to join their small team as a Forklift Driver and production operative to help keep our process operational, as well as to help build out new operations.
This role is working Monday - Friday on a day shift only - 08:00am Start, 37.5 Hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Forklift operation - using counterbalance or reach FLTs to move equipment and product through the process line.
- Shredding and separation - operating our grinders, mills and separators to form fractionalised product streams.
- Cleanliness - working with the team to maintain a tidy and safe working environment.
- Adaptability and engagement - we are making constant changes and developing new processes, we would like the whole team involved in the development through monthly whole-team meetings and committees.
- Helping hand - being generally available to help out the operations and/or lab team with any necessary tasks, such as sample taking, moving of stock and auditing stock.
Requirements:
- Up-to-date FLT training certification.
- A-Level or equivalent qualification in chemistry or applied sciences, or previous experience in a scientific research facility.
- Good time management - ability to work with the team to identify the best way to complete tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Communication and drive - working with the team to improve current processes and build new ones.
