FLT Driver - MTrec Recruitment : Job Details

The Company

• MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Gateshead area and are currently looking for people to start within the next 5 days, please do not apply if you are unable to start work within that period.

The Role

• Operation of a counterbalance for transporting products within the yard area
• The main responsibilities for this role will be to work as part of the dispatch team.
• Responsible for safe use of the counter-balance forklift truck.
• ensure daily targets are met and effectively carry out the key processes of the department.
• Use of the computerised stock and control system.
• Preparation and despatch of finished goods.
• Picking materials for the factory floor.
• Reading product codes and aisle numbers.

The Person

• Must have a valid counter balance forklift truck
• Be able to work both individually in a team
• Must be comfortable with the role being primarily manual handling, with 25% counter balance forklift truck driving
• Should be able to start almost immediately
• Comfortable working on both days and backs rotations

• £12.35 per hour (+ £10 per shift)
