£40,000 - £60,000 Basic Salary + Company Performance Bonus + Benefits

• Leaders in designing and developing smart and IoT household safety systems.
• Working 3 days in a collaborative environment, 2 days from home per week

The Company recruiting for the Firmware Engineer:

• A market leader in home safety systems
• Renowned for their battery and mains powered devices.
• Growing and expanding in Coventry and further afield
• Seeking an experienced firmware engineer

The Role of the Firmware Engineer:

• Review, maintain and author technical documents.
• Generate firmware requirements based on product specifications.
• Investigate and debug legacy systems and problem solve using processes such as Version Control and 8D.
• Participate in peer reviews.
• Develop reliable, robust, efficient and modular code.
• Support the wider team and liaise with all R&D department.
• Mon - Fri role, 3 days in the office, 2 from home.

The Candidate for the Firmware Engineer:

• Experienced with RTOS and Bare Metal solutions, along with MISRA C and LDRA
• 5 years working experience with embedded software development.
• Knowledge of C and ecosystems, along with low powered device firmware
• Working knowledge with source code controls, RF technologies, and Microchip PIC ARM M0/M0+
• Experience of Jira, Agile, NXP, TI, SI-Labs, Simplicity Studio IDE, Python, and IoT systems such as Wi-Fi and GSM is highly advantageous.
• Comfortable working in a team environment
• Strong English communication skills
• Able to commute 3 days per week to the Coventry site.
• You must have right to work in the UK as sponsorship will not be provided.

The Package for the Firmware Engineer:

• £40,000 - £60,000 basic salary, depending on experience
• Company performance related bonus
• 4 days in the office, 1 from home
• Benefits package
• 25 days holiday + stats
