Starting Point Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Fire & Safety Rngingeer for our esteemed client based within the London area.Salary: £35- £40K – Negotiable depending on experience. Location: East London & South Essex Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 8am - 4.30pmJob Purpose: Servicing, Maintenance, Installation & Commissioning of Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Access Control Systems. • Servicing, Maintenance of Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Access Control Systems. Experience and knowledge of Emergency Lighting would be advantageous.
• Working to the company’s stringent maintenance and installation specifications
• The ability to deliver on-site customer training confidently and clearly.
• Carry out corrective and preventative maintenance of fire and security systems (and emergency lighting)
• Installation and Commissioning of conventional and addressable fire alarm systems to a high standard of workmanship
• Installation & Commissioning of Intruder, CCTV and Access Control Systems

Job Requirements:

• Demonstration of a good background and level of experience of working within the fire and security sector.
• Working knowledge of various manufacturers and systems ( Apollo, Hyfire, Hochiki, Kentec, Haes, Texecom, Pyronix, Galaxy, Hik-Vision, Dahua, Paxton, PAC, Entrotec and other well-known manufacturers)
• Good working knowledge of BS5839
• Full/clean driving license is essential.
• Valid ECS Card would be advantageous.
• Electrical background/experience would be advantageous.
