Are you an experienced Fire & Security Engineer looking for your next challenge? We’re expanding and looking for a skilled engineer to install, service, and maintain fire alarm, CCTV, intruder alarm, and access control systems across Somerset and surrounding areas.

The Role

As a Fire Alarm Service Engineer, you’ll:

• Install, service, and maintain fire alarms, CCTV, intruder, and access control systems.
• Perform fault finding, diagnostics, and system repairs.
• Carry out routine maintenance and emergency callouts.
• Complete job sheets and service reports accurately.
• Ensure compliance with current standards (BS 5839, BS 7671, etc.).
• Deliver high-quality customer service on every site visit.

Requirements

To be successful, you’ll need:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Fire & Security Engineer role.
• Strong knowledge of systems such as Texecom, Hikvision, Paxton, Advanced, Kentec, or similar.
• Full UK driving licence.
• ECS/CSCS card or equivalent (preferred).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to travel and take part in an on-call rota.
