Job Title: Fire Alarm Service Engineer

Location: South West Starting Salary: Circa £35,000 - £58,000Type: Full-time | PermanentStart Date: ASAP

Innotech Partners are working with an established contractor who deliver design, installation, and maintenance services across electrical, heating, plumbing, fire, and security systems. They are now seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Fire Alarm Service Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a supportive, engineer-led business with progression and training opportunities. Standard working hours are 40 per week (Monday-Friday), with plentiful overtime available should you wish to boost your earnings.

• Service, fault finding, and reactive maintenance of fire detection systems

• Routine testing, inspections, and remedial works

• Occasional service of security systems (CCTV, intruder alarms, access control)

• Provide technical support and advice to customers and colleagues

• Ensure all work is carried out to company standards and in line with Health & Safety guidelines

• Proven experience in servicing fire alarm systems within commercial or domestic settings

• Knowledge of some or all of the following manufacturers desirable:

  • Gent (Certification highly desirable)

  • Advanced Electronics, Kentec, HAES, Hochiki, Apollo, Vesda, Honeywell, Paxton, Hikvision

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

• City & Guilds electrical qualifications (236 parts 1&2) or time-served equivalent advantageous

• 17th/18th Edition qualification desirable but not essential

• Full, clean UK driving licence

• Adaptable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
