Eames are partnering with a PE-backed energy company based in the City of London to hire a Financial Reporting Manager. Following recent funding from a well-known private equity firm, our client has exciting plans for growth over the coming years. This is a newly created role as part of the growth strategy. The successful candidate will take the lead on management and financial reporting for the group, while also managing and overseeing a small team. Key Tasks / Responsibilities
- Lead the statutory accounts preparation in line with IFRS standards
- Manage and develop the financial accounting team
- Assist with management reporting, including board packs and financial analysis
- Take full ownership of the monthly reporting process
- Lead the audit process as the main point of contact at year-end
- Own the group consolidation process for multiple entities
- Own regulatory reporting requirements
- Undertake ad hoc duties as required
Person Requirements
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) qualified
- Strong technical understanding of financial controls under IFRS
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage cross-functionally and drive change
