Financial Reporting Analyst - Robert Walters : Job Details

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Reporting Analyst to join a listed mining business based in London. This role offers the chance to work within a highly collaborative and knowledgeable finance team, supporting operations across multiple continents.

You will be at the heart of group consolidation, external reporting, and technical accounting, with exposure to a wide range of stakeholders including operational teams, corporate functions, and external auditors. The role will also work closely with the FP&A team and projects and systems teams.

Key remits to the role include;

• Prepare technical accounting papers and contribute to audit committee reports, ensuring clarity with relevant standards
• Lead the preparation of quarterly releases
• Produce monthly group consolidations
• Collaborate with operational teams
• Drive continual improvements
• Assist with adhoc projects as required

You will need to be;

• Proven ability to conduct technical accounting research
• Background in listed company accounting environments
• Hands on experience with HFM
• Excellent communication skills to work well with teams across a variety of departments
• Ability to provide Financial insight and analytical mindset
