About the RoleLevel: 2 Department: Financial Promotions Location: Homebased, United Kingdom Contract type: Permanent - 35 hours per week, Monday until Friday Regulated/Non-Regulated: Non-Regulated To ensure compliance with regulatory requirements by delivering the Quilter Financial Planning standards. To co-ordinate and support activity within the Financial Promotions team, providing support to the team manager as needed in managing workflow, managing the attestation, decline chaser and expiry reminder process, contributing to team performance targets, and aiding in the generation of precise and informative management information (MI).
- Co-ordinate, monitor and distribute:
- Daily and weekly service level updates
- Ad hoc MI requests
- Managing the automation elements. Incl. monitoring quarterly attestations for any firms/advisers who have promotions related to pensions (including workplace pensions) and investments.
- Assisting the Manager, team and wider department as appropriate or requested.
- Maintain the agreed team Standard Level Agreement (SLA) whilst offering help and assistance to all advisers wishing to gain approval or guidance on their advertising or stationery material.
- Maintain a personal and team quality level above minimum standard.
- Monitoring of the Financial Promotion Mailbox.
- Monitor the use of previously approved Financial Promotions/Stationery items for firms/advisers who have left QFP.
Consumer DutyWhilst this isn't a directly customer facing role, the duties you will perform support direct overall positive outcomes for our customers by enabling our leaders to make informed decisions which balance the trade-off between risk and reward and ensure regulatory compliance. This contributes to improved services, customer centric outcomes, stability, responsiveness, and overall customer satisfaction.
About You - A wealth of experience working in a retail Financial Services environment is preferred.
- A working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Good IT literacy.
- Possessing strong attention to detail with an ability to understand and link risk indicators.
- A basic understanding of our regulator the FCA, a financial services network and the approach to Financial Promotions.
- A basic knowledge and understanding of Financial Services regulations (COBS, MCOBS, ICOBS) and GDPR.
- A commitment to Consumer duty and the activities expected of its Appointed Representatives (ARs).
- Ensure all AR Firm Advertising meets the standards set out by the FCA and Quilter Financial Planning/Quilter in reference to Principle 7 of the FCAs Principle's for Businesses.
