Job Location : Liverpool, UK
As Finance & Reporting Manager, you'll be at the centre of the organisation's financial operations. You'll oversee a small team and workk closely with senior leaders to provide timely, accurate, and insightful financial reporting.
You'll play a key role in system improvements, cash flow forecasting, and business-critical analysis, ensuring finance is a true partner to the wider organisation.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead project management and data quality control during the implementation of a new finance system
Produce and oversee daily cash flow forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
Act as the firm's audit and tax lead, liaising with auditors and external advisors.
Deliver Board Pack reporting and in-depth P&L variance analysis for Heads of Department and cost centre managers.
Take ownership of budget compilation, reforecasting, and financial planning.
Manage, mentor, and develop a team of three, driving performance and accuracy across reporting and ledger functions.
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with strong technical knowledge.
Experienced in management reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis, ideally within professional services.
Hands-on, adaptable, and confident working with both senior stakeholders and junior team members.
Strong systems knowledge, with experience in Power BI and modern finance systems.
Collaborative by nature, with the ability to influence and challenge when needed.
