NJR Recruitment is currently working with a respected and growing financial services firm, known for its client-centric approach and long-standing industry reputation. They are now looking to recruit a confident and driven Account Handler to join their Financial Institutions Insurance division, based in Leeds with hybrid working available.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional with a strong academic background and experience within professional services. You’ll be joining a high-performing team and taking ownership of a portfolio of sophisticated clients in the financial services sector. The role offers real autonomy, career development, and the chance to work closely with senior stakeholders across both clients and the London market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop strong client relationships within the financial institutions sector
• Arrange and service specialist insurance lines (Professional Indemnity, D&O, Cyber, Crime)
• Conduct in-depth client reviews, due diligence, and risk analysis
• Broker with the London/Lloyd’s market to secure best terms
• Draft policy documentation, slips, and client materials
• Maintain and expand your technical knowledge of financial lines insurance

What We’re Looking For:

• A strong academic record – ideally a 2:1 or above in a relevant subject (e.g. Law, Economics, Finance, or Maths)
• At least 3 years’ experience in a client-facing role within a professional services environment
• Minimum Dip CII qualified (or similar level qualification such as a legal practising certificate)
• Excellent communication, time management, and relationship-building skills
• A proactive, analytical mindset with a commitment to continuous learning
