Financial Controller - Live Music & Touring - Handle Recruitment : Job Details

An exclusive opportunity has become available for a qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Financial Controller to join an instantly recognisable Live Music & Touring business.

The role is responsible for 3 direct reports and will be working alongside the Senior Stakeholders of the business.

The role will include but not be limited to:

• Preparing financial statements for clients including statutory accounts, management accounts and tour accounts/client settlements
• Maintaining accounting records on Sage 50 online
• Preparing monthly and quarterly retail and ecommerce royalty statements
• Preparing UK vat returns and EU vat returns, both monthly and quarterly
• Managing the workload of an account's assistant
• Preparing budgets for FEU (Foreign Entertainers Tax) purposes and payment thereof to UK Revenue where applicable

The successful candidate will be:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent
• Experience working within Live Music would be desirable but not essential
• A passion for music is essential!
