Are you an experienced Finance Manager or Financial Controller looking for your next challenge?

An established client of ours within the local area is looking for someone to take full ownership of a specific part of the business, in a sole charge position (for now).  They have experienced massive growth over the past 3 years and opened brand new offices with a canteen, gym, multiple meeting rooms, training areas and have genuinely brought the London-style office to Essex!

Responsibilities:

As a Financial Controller, you will…

• Oversee daily financial operations, cash flow, and working capital management
• Deliver accurate, timely financial reports and lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Partner with department heads to analyse performance and provide strategic financial insights
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting tools and systems
•  Support leadership through board reporting, audit coordination and participation in strategic planning
• Work directly with the CFO and board of directors to drive profitability and business process

Requirements:

As a Financial Controller, you will need…

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Previous experience in a senior finance role
• A passion for manipulating data for all manner of reporting and analysis to drive profitability
• Ability to see beyond the numbers and interpret data
