Job Title: Financial Controller

Location: Staffordshire

Remuneration: £80,000 - £100,000 + Bonus

Responsibilities:

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure strategic alignment.
• Oversee the preparation of precise financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial performance to boost profitability.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support informed decision-making and growth strategies.
• Maintain compliance with statutory reporting requirements and enhance internal financial controls.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect company assets.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth operations.
• Improve financial systems, controls, and reporting processes for enhanced accuracy.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team to achieve excellence.
• Collaborate with senior management to align financial strategies with business objectives.
• Provide insightful financial guidance to support strategic initiatives and growth.

This will be suited to you if:

• You possess ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or an equivalent qualification.
• You have proven experience in financial management, preferably in the manufacturing or engineering sector.
• You have strong financial acumen, leadership capabilities, and strategic thinking skills.
• You are familiar with ERP systems and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
