Financial Controller - Robert Half : Job Details

Robert Half is partnering with a well established manufacturing business based in Rochdale, known for delivering high quality products across domestic and international markets.

The company is currently seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to oversee day to day finance operations during a period of transition.

This is a BAU Financial Controller role, not project led and requires a hands on professional.

• Oversee all core financial operations, including management accounts, financial reporting, cashflow forecasting, and statutory compliance.
• Ensure the timely and accurate production of monthly management accounts with variance analysis.
• Lead and support the finance team (including transnational finance staff), ensuring delivery of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure strong financial controls are maintained and adhered to.
• Liaise with external auditors and manage audit preparation and queries.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and forecasting models.

4 month assignment.

ASAP start.

Successful Candidate Profile

• ACA, ACCA or ACMA qualified.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Finance & Accounting leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of statutory accounting, and audit processes.
• Strong leadership and team development capabilities
